Notice how the picture seems to be tilted? Actually, the horizontal timbers are not horizontal either. Rather, look more at the mountains. I doubt if there is a single square timber left in the whole town. Some are just more cockeyed than others. The camera was leveled using a level that fits into the hot shoe. All the pictures were taken this way and left with true level to show just how skewed the houses have become over time.
